The first day u13 regionals has been an action packed for NC basketball, with 5 teams competing. Here are the results from the first day:

Girls white won against Mid Canterbury Gold 57-41 in their first game, they then lost their second game 28-76 against Canterbury.

Girls black lost their first game against West Coast in their first game, and in their second they lost against Canterbury black.

Boys white lost a close battle against North Otargo 54-53 in game 1, in game two they secured the win against Eastern Southland 54-39.

Boys black played Nelson in their first game which they lost, and in their second they took another loss from Southland B. 

Boys Maroon lost their first game against Marlborough 57-27 and in their second they got the W against buller in the second game.

Day two sees our teams geared upto play 1-2 games each in pool play, with play offs commencing tomorrow.
