Success is not the work of an individual, but the work of many.
NCBA has partnered with the North Canterbury Sport and Recreation Trust to deliver a 6-week off-season Strength and Conditioning program in term 4. The program will be focused on fundamental movement patterns and techniques associated with Basketball and will complement basketball-specific skills training in the WPP.
As we look forward to 2021 and Stadium Waimakariri opening, the ability for S&C to become a regular part of our basketball programs is promising due to the facility holding various rooms, S&C equipment, and on-site trainers. We are excited to pilot this program in term 4 with hopes to expand on it once the new stadium opens.
The 6 sessions will be run at the SportsTrust Gym on Flaxton Rd,
Thursday - 22nd, 29th Oct, 5th, 12, 19th, and 26th Nov
Session A; 3.30-4.15pm
Session B; 4.20-5.05pm
