MAINLANDS 2026

NCBA is looking forward to another great run during the 2026 Mainlands Tournament this year. Canterbury Basketball Association will once again host the tournament being held at the new Parakiore Sport and Recreation Centre, Friday 10th - Monday 13th July

(Registration may incur the once a year BBNZ levy and NCBA Membership fee payment.)


​​There is an U19 Women's Grade proposed, the earlier we can confirm the better. For this to go ahead, please express your interest early!

**This registration form is for non rep players. NCBA Rep teams will play at Mainlands as their Rep Teams. ​​​​​​​

Registrations will close May 31st !

Please read the 2026 Age Definitions for BBNZ Competitions document if you are unsure which age group you are to trial for.

If you are unavailable to attend but still wish to be considered a trial exemption form will need to be filled in. This can be found in the documents list on this page. Completed forms will need to be sent to gm@northcanterbury.basketball

Forms need to be received one week before the trial/s you are unable to attend.

If NCBA is not notified that you wish to be considered but are unavailable to attend trial/s you will not be considered.

2026 REPRESENTATIVE TRIALS


All trials are held at MainPower Stadium. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your trial to sign in and be ready on time. 

Trial Dates as follows for Mainlands


Monday 25th May 

  • U16 Boys and Girls:  7-8pm
  • U18 Boys and U19 Women:  8-9pm
